Rick Collins, 60, of New Castle passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020 at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 18, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of the late Morgan E. and Betty (Yones) Collins.
He was a member of the Army Reserve for eight years. Rick enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling and fishing. He always had a contagious sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Connie Collins; children, Tabitha Collins and Joshua Collins; grandchildren; Hayden and Jaxsen; sister, Pam Reeder; brother, Paul Collins; cousin, Clark Depew; and several nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Betty and Jr. Paxton, grandparents; an aunt and a cousin.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Keith Wooden officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be 12:00p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, but please be prepared to wait as we are only limited to 10 guests in attendance at a time.
