Raymond (Ray) Hengstler 95, passed away on April 7th, 2020 in Puyallup, Washington. Ray was born October 4, 1924 in Richmond Indiana, to Raymond Hengster, Sr. and Goldie Irene Hilliard Hengstler. He grew up in Richmond and attended Richmond Community Schools. He joined the United States Army right out of high school and fought under General George Patton during WWII. After his military service, Ray worked for Moto-Mower and Kemper Cabinets, from which he retired. In his younger days, Ray enjoyed singing, fishing and reading the Bible. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Ray relocated to Washington State in 2002 where he had vacationed for many years. It was there that he married Dorothy Heath in 2003. Ray was a very easy-going person and was well liked by all who knew him. He will be missed greatly.

Ray leaves behind his brother, Jan (Jane) Liebert of Richmond. He is also survived by one niece and four nephews. Ray was proceeded in death by his wife, his parents, three sisters and one brother.
