Phyllis Kay Morgan, 70, passed away Wednesday night April 22, 2020 at her home in Dublin, Indiana while surrounded by her beloved family. She was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky on March 12, 1950 to the late Minor and Geneva (Jones) Mobley.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Joan McCullough, Mary Ann Breeden, and Betty Boyd.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Carlos Morgan and their three children, Lonnie (Richai) Morgan, Keith Morgan, and Tim Morgan; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helena Lundy, Jane (Allen) Briar, Sandra (Rick) Sherwood, and brother, Minor Mobley.

Phyllis spent her life as a devoted servant of Christ, homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and peacemaker. Phyllis and Carlos were married in Tennessee on November 20, 1965. Their marriage became a set example of love and devotion to all those around. She took pride and joy in each of her children and grandchildren. She wore the proud title of “Nanny” very well. She enjoyed many hobbies including gardening and canning, raising chickens, cooking, sewing, painting, reading, and bible study. She will be very missed by her loved ones here on earth but knowing without a doubt she is now with the One she loved the most will bring them peace and comfort.
