Michael Lee Hunter, 66, of Connersville passed away Thursday morning, October 1, 2020, surrounded by his loving family at his residence.

One of ten children of Everett and Mary Bostic Hunter, Michael was born on April 6, 1954 in Connersville.

On August 11, 1995, Michael married the former Lois Crouch in Connersville. Mrs. Hunter survives.

An avid sports fan, Michael enjoyed watching his grandchildren play soccer. For many years, he volunteered at the Boy’s and Girl’s Club, coaching several sports. In his leisure time, Michael enjoyed listening to music, especially The Beatles.

Besides his wife of 25 years, Lois Hunter, survivors include a daughter, Amanda (Michael) Hunter Faulk of Connersville; three bonus children, Amy Whipple, Ryan Whipple (fiancé, Carol Durham), and Bobbi Jo Ware, all of Connersville; seven grandchildren, Jaryn Williams, Allyson (Casey) Good, Alyssa Williams, Michael Hunter Faulk, Dylan Hudson, Aleeya Case, Kaytlyn Whipple; three siblings, Eugene Hunter, Carolyn Bowling, and Dale (Debbie) Hunter, all of Connersville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; and six siblings, Jack Hunter, June Bowling, Betty Hunter, Virginia Hunter, Donna Carlton, and Bonita “Bonnie” Steele.

Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor Chris Lovett will officiate. Burial will follow in Lick Creek Cemetery.
