Lois G. Kabisch, 92, of Connersville, passed away Friday morning, August 21, 2020 at the Heritage House of Connersville.
She was born on March 18, 1928 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the oldest of two children of Marvin and Shirley C. (Bowser) Sauers. She graduated from Northside High School in Fort Wayne.
On January 6, 1949, Lois married Robert A. Kabisch in Huntington, Indiana, and they resided in Fort Wayne until moving to Connersville for residence. Mr. Kabisch passed away on November 23, 1981.
Lois attended the First Baptist Church and had been a member of the Connersville Country Club. In her leisure, she enjoyed bowling and playing golf.
Survivors include four children, Teri A. Kabisch of Fort Wayne, Donald J. (Cindy) Kabisch of Fort Wayne, Karen K. (Tom) Whitecotton of Connersville, and Tamara D. (Rodney) Powell of Anchorage, Alaska; three grandchildren, Travis (Tonya) Kabisch of Auburn, Indiana, Seth Whitecotton of Atlanta, Georgia, and Joshua Kabisch of Chicago, Illinois; a sister-in-law, Carol Sauers of Greenwood, Indiana; a niece, Laura Sauers Leiter; two nephews, Kevin Sauers and Chris Sauers; and several cousins.
Besides her husband of 32 years, Robert Kabisch, she is preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Heather Whitecotton, who died in 1985, and a brother, Donald Sauers.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana at the convenience of the family. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
