Jonathan Starr Ford, age 84, of Greens Fork, Indiana, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday evening, December 14, 2020.
Jonathan was born on March 16, 1936, in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to Herbert Lyman and Dorothy Mae Petit Ford. His smile could light up a room. Jonathan enjoyed photography, coin and stamp collecting, and would hardly ever pass up a game of checkers with his family. He was a devout Christian.
Survivors include his loving wife of almost 54 years, Madeline R. Minnix Ford, to whom he was married in Phoenix, Arizona, on December 28, 1966; children, Rhonda (John) Keck, Fabian (Nancy) Ford, Thomas (Amy) Ford, Tim Ford, and Jonathan D. Ford; granddaughter, Brianna Keck; several step-grandchildren; younger sister, Joyce; younger brother, Henry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; half brother, Ed; and older brother, Herb.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we regret to inform you that services for Jonathan Starr Ford will be private with his brother-in-law, Loren Minnix officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonburg Cemetery.
