Eunice “Darlene” Prince, 63, of New Castle passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at IU Health – Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born March 16, 1957 In Muncie, Indiana, a daughter of the late Norman and Jeanetta (Monroe) Stamper.

Darlene had been employed at Foam Rubber Products in New Castle for 22 years. She was a member of Moose Lodge. Darlene enjoyed playing BINGO, bowling and going to the Casino. She loved her family, her dog Carl and spending time with her grandson, Thor.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Paul Prince; son, Ray Antrim of New Castle, daughter, Tracy Prince of New Castle; special grandson, Thor Pittman; sister, Norma Monroe of Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Mary (Lee) Keesling, Fern (Ernest) Brown, Wilma York and Shirley (Bruce) Smith, all of New Castle; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Margaret) Prince of Petersburg, Virginia, Rob (Kim) Prince, Ray (Becky) Prince, Roger (Betty) Prince and Terry Prince, all of New Castle; mother-in-law, Geneva Prince of New Castle and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Sam Stamper, Linda Reffitt, Sarah Stamper and Judy Mackey; brothers-in-law Steve Prince & Richard Prince; father-in-law, Roy Prince; son-in-law, J.J. Pitman and nephew, Bill Prince.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Jay Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Due to COVID 19 and the governor’s mandate, face coverings will be required.
