ANDERSON – David Hubble, 78, went home to be with his Lord and wife on Thursday morning January 23, 2020.
David was born in Dayton, Ohio, on February 9, 1941.
He was raised by his grandparents, the late Minnie and John Hubble, in Milton, Indiana, and graduated from Milton High School in 1960.
David worked as a truck driver for 45 years and retired from D.J. Baker Trucking in Pershing. He moved to Indianapolis while in his late 20s and has lived in Anderson since 2013.
David was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be lovingly remembered by his family. In his leisure, David enjoyed NASCAR racing and was a huge Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt fan.
Survivors include, 4 children, Christina (Robert) Lane, Heather (Antwoyn) Warren, David (Jacqueline) Hubble and Matthew (Julia) Hubble; 10 grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, the former Sylvia Lavonne Pierce. They were married in New Castle on January 11, 1965.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 2 p.m. on Monday January 27, 2020 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Burial will follow at West Side Cemetery in Milton.
