Darrell W. Hall, Sr., 74, of Connersville passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at his residence.
A life-long resident of Connersville, Darrell was born October 28, 1945, one of five children of Charles Fredrick and Mary Jane Vest Hall.
For over 22 years, he was employed at Visteon, retiring in 2006.
Darrell enjoyed playing and singing Gospel music in various churches in the area. He also enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and listening to bluegrass music.
Survivors include two children, Darrell W. Hall II of Connersville and Shelley R. (Dan) Leinberger of Kentland, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Jonathan (Desiree) Meyer, Shelby Leinberger, Darrell Wayne Hall III, Kristen Bailey, Delayne Michelle Hall, Keegan Eugene Hall, and Austin Schoettmer; two great-grandchildren, Peyton Meyer and Dominik Schoettmer; a sister, Brenda Smith of Union City, Indiana; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Darrell is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Marvin Hall and Charles Hall; and a sister, Leona Dragoo.
A celebration of Darrell’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Reverend Jonathan Meyer will officiate. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery. Online condolences may be made anytime at millermosterrobbins.com.
