Clarina Lynne Lacy 51, of New Castle Indiana passed away suddenly on July 23, 2020. Born August 25, 1968 to Mildred Kay Lacy, Lynne was a proud mother to her beautiful daughter, Josie Katlyn Lacy of Bloomington, Indiana.
She enlisted in the United States Air Force right after graduating from New Castle Chrysler High School. After oversees deployments in Germany and South Korea she finished her tour while stationed at MacDill Air Force base in Tampa, Florida. She has been a server and hostess at Bob Evans, Steak-N-Shake, and Applebee’s. She was also a Sales Representative for Paparazzi Jewelry. Lynne loved spending time with her family especially weekend visits to see her daughter. She was an avid reader, enjoyed singing karaoke, and loved hanging with her best friend and partner in crime Lori Teter.
She is survived by her mother, Mildred Kay Lacy of New Castle; her daughter, Josie Lacy (Jacob) of Bloomington, Indiana; sisters, Vicki Pierce Abels (Ronald) of Anderson Indiana, Rita Kelsey (Larry) of Mississippi; brothers, Ronnie Pierce (Heather) of Charlestown, Indiana, Bill Pierce (Lisa), David Pierce (Lori), both of New Castle, and Danny Pierce (April) of Westfield, Indiana; several nephews, nieces, cousins, and her fur baby, Buddy.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Abe Lacy; her father, Curtis Pierce; two brothers, Victor Pierce and Herbert Wadman; her second mother, Elene Greenwell.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 26th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Macer-Hall Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home, 2011 E. Broad Street Chapel, New Castle Indiana. The funeral service will be on Monday, July 27th., at 4:00pm at Macer-Hall Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home with Reverend Dale Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Gardens with Military honors being conducted by the U.S. Airforce American Legion and VFW.
