Beverly I. Compton, 64, of Hagerstown, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, August 10, 2020.
She was born in Anderson on June 15, 1956 to Dallas and Berniece (Bouge) Chambers and lived most of her life in Alexandria. She had resided in Hagerstown for the past 5 years.
Beverly was employed for many years at Speedway of Alexandria and was a retired employee of Lowes of Anderson.
She is survived by a daughter, Amanda (Matt) Adams and a granddaughter, MaKayla Adams.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Chambers.
Services will be at 12 noon on Friday, August 14, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Pastor Rick Alvey will officiate. Burial will be in Brick Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 PM on Thursday.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
