Ronald Lee Branson, age 60, passed away at Reid Health on January 27, 2019. He was born November 24, 1958, to Carlyle and Virginia Branson in Muncie, Indiana.
Ronald had lived in Wayne County most of his life. He worked for Richmond Community Schools and was a member of Ravenna Park Church. He loved spending time with his family and his sons were his world. He was a 4-H Assistant leader for many years for Special Clover 4-H Group. He loved going to auctions and going to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
He is survived by his loving spouse: Cheryl Branson; two sons: Joshua Branson and Kevin Branson; two brothers: Joe (Judy) Branson and Phil (Marsha) Branson; mother and father-in-law: Lowell and Louise Nesbitt; brother-in-law: Mark (Chris) Nesbitt; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by many friends including special friends: Debbie Raulston and her daughter, Madison Raulston, Debbie and Larry Williams, Karen Hawkins, Bobbie Hines, Mark Cooper, Jackie Cooper, Josh Millsap, Anthony Smith and Doug and Elizabeth McDade.
The family would like to give special thanks to Centerville Fire Rescue, Centerville Police Department, Richmond Goodwill and Richmond Kroger.
The family will host a Celebration of Ronald’s Life at Ravenna Park Church on February 9, 2019, at 12 Noon with Pastor Jimmy Slaven officiating.
