Nancy Sue Wilson, 83, of Connersville, passed away Monday evening, December 2, 2019, at Reid Health, Richmond, where she had been a patient since Saturday.
A lifelong resident of Connersville, Nancy was born February 3, 1936, one of four children of Robert H. and Pauline Farrow Brown. She was a 1954 graduate of Connersville High School.
On June 12, 1954, she was married in Connersville to Lester “Cotton” H. Wilson of Connersville. Mr. Wilson survives. For over 30 years, she was employed at Stant Manufacturing in the assembly department, retiring in 1998.
Nancy enjoyed quilting, working on family genealogy, camping, taking trips to Whitewater State Park and Indiana Beach, and spending time with her family.
Besides her husband of 65 years, Lester “Cotton” H. Wilson, survivors include four children, Rick (Penny) Wilson of Connersville, Bob (Janet) Wilson of Greenwood, Indiana, Deb (Tim) Harsh of Milton, and Connie (Brian) Beaver of Peoria, Illinois; a sister, Kathy Lackey of Vancouver, Washington; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was also blessed with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert Jack Brown and Max Brown.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Reverend Eric Hopkins will officiate the service. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
