Rosalee Gardner 72 of Richmond passed away January 23, 2018 at Reid Health after a long illness. She was born August 15, 1945 in Richmond to Robert and Edna Miller Robbins and lived her all of her life.
She worked at Nettle Creek Industries where she was a seamstress; and was a member of the New Apostolic Church in Centerville.She loved her family and was very close to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her former husband and lifelong friend Richard (Trina) Gardner of Lynn, seven children Kenneth “Jimmy” Gardner of Richmond, Tony Gardner of Richmond, Samantha (Frank) Fent of Eaton, Linda (David) Newman of Fountain City, Randy Ring of Ohio, Karen Mourcy of Georgetown, Debbie (Kevin Turner) Gardner of Glenwood; fourteen grandchildren Jaime (JT) Murphy, Lacey (Jeremy Bane) Gardner, David (Jana) Gardner, James Gardner, Christopher VanZant, Joshua (Carly) VanZant, Andrew Fent, Justin Fent, Ashley (Dustin) Allen, Dylan (Amy) Newman, Dayna Newman, Hadya Mourcy, Codey (Brianna) Watts, Nicole Heath; twelve great-grandchildren Tyler, Bailey, Blake, Makaila, Aiden, Hayden, Carter, Killian, Ashtyn, Noah, Caiden, Victoria; one sister Nancy Harsh of Richmond, one brother Jimmy Robbins of Richmond, and one brother-in-law Tommy (Debbie) Gardner of Richmond.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Ricky Gardner, one brother Marvin Estep, and a special friend Jerry Todd.
Services will be 2:00PM Sunday January 28, 2018 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. John Shepherd officiating; a private inurnment will be in Earlham Cemetery.
