Louann (Turner) Oakerson, 84, a long time resident of the Losantville area, died Monday, April 16, 2018 at Parker Health Care, where she had resided for the past several years.
She was born in Wayne County on August 17, 1933 to Emerson and Ethel (Phillips) Turner. She moved to Randolph county in 1954.
Louann was a member of Oldtown Baptist Church and had worked in Home Healthcare. She enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include three children, Arthur McGrew (Mary), Becky Hannah and Judy Oakerson (Mary); three brothers, Keith Turner, Bill Turner and Timothy Turner; ten grandchildren, Heather Penland (Chris), Holly McGrew, Heidi Harris (John), Jamie Rader (Chris), Chris Farmer (Rose), Chad Farmer, Joe McGrew, Julie McGrew, Jayson Wilson and Ashlund Haskell; many great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Mildred Turner; her step-father, Chester Beiinett; a daughter, Cynthia Hendrickson; a granddaughter, Jenny Haskell and a brother, Donald Turner.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 19, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Services will follow at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Losantville.
