Richmond – Julia Elaine Brandenburg, age 73, of Richmond, Indiana, died Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Reid Health surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 15, 1945 in Richmond, Indiana to Elmer (Pat) and Blanche Whalen, Julia was a lifelong resident of Richmond, Indiana. Julia enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and watching her favorite TV shows.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband: Richard Brandenburg of Richmond; her son, Todd (Kristin) Moistner of Richmond; her daughters: Penny Moistner of Richmond and Jody Reece of New Hope, Ohio; her stepson Chad (Stacie) Brandenburg of Fishers, Indiana; six grandchildren: Alisha (Don) Rogers, Ciera Moistner, Bailey Moistner, Jake Shue, Norah Brandenburg and Sammie Brandenburg; one great granddaughter: Mira Rodgers; one brother: Roger Whalen and nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Julie was proceeded in death by her stepmother; Freda Whalen and her mother and father, Elmer and Blanche Whalen. The family would like to thank the Reid Health Nursing and Reid Hospice staff for the exceptional care of Julie.
Visitation for Julia Elaine Brandenburg will be from 4:00PM to 7:00PM, Monday, November 12, 2018 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, 222 North 10th Street, Richmond, Indiana. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11:00AM. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
