RICHMOND, Ind. – Joyce E. Ripberger, age 60, of Richmond, Indiana, died Friday, February 9, 2018, at her home after a long illness.
Born October 25, 1957, in Richmond, Indiana, to Paul E. and Betty Schwab Jordan Sr., Joyce was a life-long resident of Wayne County. She was a 1976 graduate of Lincoln High School.
Survivors include her daughters, Kari (Jeremy) Radcliff and Lacey (David) Hunter, both of Richmond; son, Travis Ripberger of Richmond; mother, Betty Weilenman of Cambridge City, Indiana; brothers, Paul E. (Jan) Jordan Jr. and Jerald (Pauletta) Jordan, both of Richmond, and Steven (Jeanene) Jordan of Cambridge City; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Jay” Ripberger, who died October 24, 2012, and father.
Visitation for Joyce E. Ripberger will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Alvey officiating. Entombment will be in the Earlham Memorial Mausoleum.
