Betty L. Usher, 80, of Milton, IN passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Henry County Hospital.

She was born on May 27, 1938 in Bybee, KY to Albert and Myrtle (McKinney) Stevens. She moved to Milton at an early age and was a 1956 graduate of Milton High School.
She married William R. Usher on August 31, 1978. She worked at Indiana DNR as a gate attendant at Brookville Lake for over 10 years, retiring in 1996. Betty loved crafts, quilting, crocheting and making dolls.
Survivors include two daughters, Charity (Brian) Usher-Nash and Dixie (Richard) Hendrickson; a son, Chris (Kim) Cooksey; 4 grandchildren, Logan Usher, McKenzie, Caitlin and Damian Nash; sister Peggy Ann Eldridge; a brother Robert Stevens; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, William R. Usher, on February 13, 2018; a daughter Susan; a grandson Mark Cross; and a brother James Stevens.
Friends may call Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City from 11:00 am until start of services at noon. Burial will follow in Westside Cemetery in Milton.
