Allan J Andrews, 61, of Winchester, passed away on Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at Reid Hospital in Richmond.
He was born on June 21, 1957, in Winchester, to Lloyd Andrews and Phyllis (Hinshaw) Middleton.
Allan attended Winchester Community High School.
He retired from the Randolph County Highway Department. Allan enjoyed farming, collecting and working on tractors, racing cars, and welding. He loved his family and dogs.
Allan is survived by his significant other, Kathy King of Winchester; daughter, Tabitha Kelley of Winchester; son, George (Sarah) Andrews of Centerville; five grandchildren, Logan Younger, Bailey Mullens, Grady Andrews, Katie Andrews, and Tenley Lewis; Kathy King’s daughter, Tami (Tony) Perkins; three step grandchildren, Anthony and Caden Perkins and Jenna (Barry) Collins; a brother, Bob (Brenda) Andrews; four sisters, Brenda (Mike) Craw, Cindy, Tina (Mick) Lounsbury, and Tonya (Mark) Ashcraft; close friend, Nathan Hardwick; close friends, Brent and Janie Mullens of Farmland; special Aunt Sue, and several other aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Allan was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation and a memorial service were Dec. 7 at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester.
