Centerville, IN – Walter F. Etzel, age 80, of Centerville, Indiana, died Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Reid Health.
Born March 24, 1936, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, to Walter G. and Dorothy Meyers Etzel, Walt lived most of his life in Centerville. He graduated from Centerville High School in 1954 and from Earlham College in 1958. Walt worked at ALCOA for over 30 years. He was the owner of Walt Etzel’s Reliable Motors.
Survivors include his sister, Judith ‘Judy’ (William) Bell of Mooresville, Indiana; niece, Shannan (David) Watt of Mooresville; and great-nephew, Graeham Watt of Mooresville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond, Indiana. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
