Winchester, IN – Joseph Taylor Ashbrook, age 21, of Winchester, Indiana, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at his home.
Born January 29, 1995, in Greenville, Ohio, to Chris B. and Lori Perkins Ashbrook, Joseph lived in Castine, Ohio, and Loudon, Tennessee, and he grew up in Centerville, Indiana. He owned and operated his own handyman business, ‘Certainly Done Right’. Joseph had a big heart and liked helping others. He was a protector of his family and friends and was proud to be a momma’s boy. Joseph enjoyed fishing and cooking. He loved his little girl more than anything.
Survivors include his wife, Megan Hoover Ashbrook of Richmond; daughter, Karlyssa Jo Ashbrook; father, Chris B. (Melissa Widau) Ashbrook of Winchester, Indiana; mother, Lori Perkins of Winchester, Indiana; step-children, Bryson and Rowen; sister, Jazmyne (Travis) McMillan of Centerville, Indiana; nieces, Gabriella, Gracelynn, Phoebe, and Eve; nephew, Travis II; aunt, Kathy Varble and her family; other extended family; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation for Joseph Taylor Ashbrook was from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service followed at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor John Maples officiating.
