The Northeastern boys basketball traveled to Berne on Saturday, Dec. 6, for a nonconference game with the South Adams Starfires. Coming off of a loss two days prior, the Knights showed no lingering effects, defeating the Starfires 59-51.
The Knights led at the end of every quarter and held off a late Starfire rally in the final minutes.
Marshall Phillips led the Knights with 16 points. Logan Seal and Brody Ross each scored 10 points. Ross also grabbed 10 rebounds. Derek McKean led the Starfires with 17 points, and Tytus Lehman scored 13 points.
