The Lincoln High School doubles team of Luna Garcia and Alyssa Waddell lost 6-1, 6-0 to Avery Koon and Ivy Zhu from Mount Vernon in the sectional finals of the Individual state tennis tournament, which was held at Mount Vernon (Fortville) High School on Thursday, May 28.
Garcia and Waddell qualified for the individual tournament by completing play in the Richmond team sectional without a loss.
