Cambridge City Lincoln graduate Bailey Puckett, competing for Trine University, earned All-America status on Saturday, March 14, in the women’s mile run during the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship at Birmingham, Alabama. Puckett finished in seventh place with a time of 4:50.06. The top eight finishers earned All-America honors.
Puckett was competing at her third NCAA Track and Field Championships. She placed 18th in the same event last year during the indoor season and was ninth in the 1500 meter during the outdoor season. Puckett is a two-time All-American and five-time national qualifier, having qualified twice to the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships.
Puckett is the first Trine woman since 2022 to earn first-team All-America status.
