Lincoln Middle/High School again sent a student to a national archery competition.
Eighth grader Coleson Burdette shot a 273, placing 170th of 944 middle school boys at the National Archery in the Schools Program’s national tournament in Louisville.
LMHS Interim Principal Melissa Zimmerman praised his hard work.
While researching the school before accepting a job as Cambridge City’s assistant principal in 2025, Zimmerman said she was surprised and impressed that LHMS offered archery, let alone sends students to nationals annually.
