The Board of Directors of the Indiana Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame has announced the 24th induction class into the women’s Hall of Fame and the 2026 inductees include a graduate of Cambridge City Lincoln High School.
Todd Salkoski, a 1976 graduate of Cambridge City Lincoln High School and longtime Shenandoah coach, will be one of 12 players, coaches or contributors to be inducted in a ceremony on Saturday, April 25.
A graduate of Ball State University, Salkoski began his teaching and coaching career at Morristown before moving to Shenandoah beginning with the 1984-85 school year, where he compiled a 40-32 record while serving as the football coach from 1985 through 1991 and a 105-48-1 record as the baseball coach from 1992-1997.

Salkoski became the girls basketball coach beginning with the 1996-97 season where he went on to compile a record of 232-99. His teams claimed nine consecutive sectional championships 2000 to 2008, regional titles in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005, and semistate crowns in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005.
His team won the 2A state championships in 2003 (with a record of 24-5) and 2005 (with a record of 22-5). His teams were also 2A state runners-up in 2001 (with a record of 25-1) and in 2002 (with a record of 22-4). His teams also captured eight consecutive White River Athletic Conference crowns between 1998 and 2005.
He was a seven-time WRAC Coach of the Year (1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005) and a three-time Ball State Alumni Coach of the Year (2002, 2004, 2005). He was also 2001 and 2002 ICGSA District 4 Coach of the Year, 2004 IBCA District 2 Coach of the Year, was a 2005 Junior All-Star assistant coach, and a 2006 Indiana All-Star assistant coach.
He had one Indiana All-Star player, Amanda Norris in 2003, and two players recognized as Class 2A Mental Attitude Award winners, Norris in 2003 and Kara Keesling in 2005.
After stepping down as coach, Salkoski became the Shenandoah athletic director, a position he has held for the last 16 years.
Salkoski earned four letters in baseball and three letters in football as an Eagle athlete. He was a two time all-Tri-Eastern Conference selection in baseball and he was team MVP in football. The Bloomington Herald-Telephone named him all-state honorable mention as a quarterback, and he was the recipient of the Lincoln All-Sports Athletic Scholarship in May 1976.
Salkoski and his wife, Dana, have one son, Aaron, and four grandchildren.
