The Richmond girls basketball team hosted the Anderson Lady Indians on Friday, Nov. 14, in the North Central Conference opener for both teams. Richmond built a 15-9 lead after the first period, but Anderson came back to take a 21-18 halftime lead. 

Richmond fought back to tie the score at 34-34 entering the final period before Anderson pulled away in the fourth quarter to take a 52-43 win.

A pair of freshmen led the Lady Red Devils in scoring: Kalia Madison scored 15 points and Alivia Coleman added 10 points. Amiya Fleming led the Lady Indians with 15 points and Campreanna Austin scored 13 points.
