The 2A 12th-ranked Northeastern Lady Knights hosted Union City on Friday, Nov. 22 in the Tri-Eastern Conference opener for both schools. The visiting Lady Indians were missing three starters because of illness and injury and found themselves trailing by the score of 59-2 at halftime. Union City only scored one field goal in the game. 

Ady Kircher and Ava Mikesell led the Lady Knights with career-best performances. Kircher poured in 40 points, only one point less than the school record of 41. Mikesell recorded her first ever triple-double performance, scoring 20 points, distributing 10 assists and stealing the ball 15 times. Northeastern played 14 different team members. The Lady Knights also won a two-quarter JV game 23-0.
