The Northeastern Knights basketball team traveled to Knightstown on Saturday, Jan. 17, for a Tri-Eastern Conference game with the Panthers. The Knights led 13-7 at the end of the first quarter, but they were outscored by the Panthers 23-5 in the second quarter and never recovered. The Knights made a furious attempt to retake the lead with a 32-point fourth quarter, but the Panthers held them off.
Kaleb Moore led the Knights in scoring with 18 points and Brody Ross scored 12 points. Billy Stein led the Panthers and all game scorers with 31 points.
