The Northeastern softball team hosted Franklin County on Friday, April 10, in a nonconference game. The Lady Knights never trailed in the game en route to a 9-3 victory.
Hailey Elsrod was the winning pitcher, turning in a complete game performance and striking out nine.
Elsrod also collected two base hits. Karri Gammon led the offense with three hits. Zella Cook and Isabella Peed also collected two hits. Peed homered.
Emily Fellure had three hits for the Lady Wildcats.
