The defending Tri-Eastern Conference champion Northeastern Lady Knights took the first step toward defending their conference championship on Friday, Nov. 21, with a 78-22 away win over Union City.
The Lady Knights dominated the game from the opening tip. Karri Gammon scored 18 points for the Lady Knights and Ady Kircher matched it. Mackenzie Johnson joined them in double figures with 10 points.
