MEN
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Garrett Silcott scored a career-high 30 points as the Indiana University East men’s basketball team wrapped up the regular season with a 91-67 win at Carlow University on Feb. 22.
IU East concludes the regular season 20-10 overall and 14-2 in the River States Conference. The Red Wolves finished second in the RSC East Division, one game behind WVU Tech.
Carlow is 1-27 overall and 0-15 in the league.
Garrett Silcott scored 20 of his points in the first half to stake IU East to a 40-26 halftime lead. Silcott scored or assisted on 27 of the Red Wolves’ 40 points in the first half.
Bishop Smith scored all 21 of his points in the second half as the Red Wolves extended their advantage. Smith made three consecutive 3-pointers in the first two minutes of the second half to push the IU East lead to 23 points.
Tre’ Harvey topped Carlow with 22 points.
IU East will host Midway University in a River States Conference Championship quarterfinal on Feb. 26. Tipoff time is 7 p.m. on Lingle Court.

WOMEN
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Indiana University East women’s basketball team concluded the regular season with a 53-35 setback against Carlow University on Feb. 22.
IU East finishes the regular season 10-20 overall and 8-8 in the River States Conference. Carlow is 9-19 and 4-11 in the league.
IU East freshman Megan Harlow (10 points) scored in double digits for the third consecutive game.
Carlow’s Emma Stille, the nation’s leading rebounder, finished with 23 rebounds along with a game-high 16 points.
IU East has qualified for the River States Conference postseason tournament as the No. 4 seed from the RSC East Division. IU East will visit an RSC West Division opponent in an RSC Championship quarterfinal on Feb. 26.
