The Northeastern Knights basketball team traveled to Winchester on Friday, Feb. 20, for a Tri-Eastern game with the Falcons played in the historic Winchester Fieldhouse. It was a Tri-Eastern Conference game between two of the three schools who remained tied for second place in the conference standings.

The Falcons built a 32-25 halftime lead and held an eight point lead in the fourth quarter before the Knights went on an 8-0 run to pull even at 44-44, with slightly over two minutes remaining, before the Falcons closed out the game.   

The Falcon win clinched no worse than a tie for second place in the final TEC standings with a league record of 6-2. Centerville won the league title with an 8-0 record.

Cam Baldwin led the Falcons with 16 points, Carter Campbell scored 15 points and Caleb Hummel scored 11 points. Brody Ross led Northeastern with a game high of 19 points.
