The Lincoln baseball team hosted Union (Modoc) on Thursday, April 17, and quickly established an advantage. The Eagles batted around twice in the bottom of the first inning to take a 13-0 lead before head coach Jeff Gwin cleared the bench. 

The game was halted after five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule. Dustin Lunsford led the Eagles with three hits, including a home run. Ben Bates, Noah Patterson, Gage Sherwood and Evan Stuckey each had two hits, and Oliver Webb tripled.
