Dublin Town Council seeks to fill a total of four openings on boards that make decisions about land use and wastewater treatment.

Those interested should submit a letter of interest explaining their qualifications and reasons for applying by 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13.

Two openings are on the town’s plan commission, with terms concluding Dec. 31, 2027. One opening must be filled by a Democrat. One may be filled by someone from any registered party.

Plan commissions provide recommendations about land use policies, zoning regulations and development proposals, and help update the town’s comprehensive plan when needed.

There’s one opening on the Board of Zoning Appeals for a term ending Dec. 31, 2026. The BZA hears appeals from those seeking exceptions or variances to zoning ordinances, such as building setbacks or land use restrictions.

Western Wayne Regional Sewer District board also needs a Dublin resident for a term ending Dec. 31, 2029. The board oversees wastewater treatment for homes and businesses.

Applicants must reside within Dublin corporation limits for at least one year, must be at least age 18, and must be a registered voter.

Letters may be submitted via mail to Town of Dublin, P.O. Box 145, Dublin, IN 47335; via email to townhall@townofdublin.in.gov; or placed in the drop box west of the Town Hall door, 2250 E. Cumberland St.
