Rushville High School hosted its annual Rushville Classic on Saturday, Aug. 30. All six Wayne County schools were represented in the field with either individuals or teams. 

The meet was divided into two divisions. Richmond won the Division I race for boys, and Hagerstown won the Division II race for girls. 

Final team standings, boys Division I: Richmond 45, Northeastern 81, Batesville 98, Centerville 114, Rushville 132, New Castle 139, Connersville 139, Indianapolis Scecina Memorial 160. 

Centerville finishers: Jonah Cornett 19th, Tate Chasteen 44th, Hunter Biava 55th, Grayson Hawkins 58th, Abram Jarvis 60th, Mason Flynn 61st, Josh Flynn 80th and Conner Scheer 101st.

Northeastern finishes: Dash Thacker fourth, Lucas Chamness sixth, Brandt Benjamin 48th, Nicolas Markward 50th, Zachary Wright 52nd, Kaden Hill 75th, Luke Wiley 81st and Lucas Cameron 111th.   

Richmond finishes: Cale Newton third, Kenny Li 13th, Brady Newton 24th, Cole Hileman 25th, Brayden Villafuerte 26th, Julian Bowden 32nd, Henry Christian 46th, Trevin Crosby 47th, Austin Retter 85th, Carlos Cruz-Herna 144th, Aiden Merkamp 145th and Jason Ngo 146th. 

Final team standings, boys Division II: Hauser 60, Hagerstown 78, Cowan 99, North Decatur 112, Muncie Burris 119, Union County 124, Oldenburg Academy 132, South Ripley 165, Rising Sun 216.

Cambridge City Lincoln finishes: Asher Short 117th and Caden Mejia-Alverez 140th.

Hagerstown finishes: Kendrick Herr 23rd, Hayden Pruitt 28th, Ben Smith 29th, Zack Logston 41st, Braydon Sanders 49th, Orion Houghton 72nd, Jack Rector 83rd, Hazard Houghton 87th, Grady DeGuira 89th and Cole Mitchell 147th. 

Seton Catholic finishes: Drake Abbitt 137th and Peter Daoud 138th. 

Final team standings, girls Division I: Batesville 20, Northeastern 55, Rushville 95, Centerville 100, Richmond 108

Centerville finishes: Bowi Frame 35th, Paige Dixon 44th, Evie Morgan 56th, Addie Talbott 60th and Victoria Beatty 70th.

Northeastern finishes: Hayden Neagle first (19:05.40), Madelyn Green 15th, Zella Cook 31st, Isabella Green 34th, Kendall Patterson 53, Brooklyn Lee 66, Olivia Crull 67th, Bella Stoops 71st and Claire Mainous 74th.  

Richmond finishes: Kemaira Farris-Craig 39th, Lena Allen 50th, Lauren Newton 61st, Samantha Hileman-Dudas 64th, Alejandra Acosta 73rd, Allissa Lawson 74th and Oliva Allen 83rd.

Final team standings, girls Division II: Hagerstown 25, Rising Sun 57, Muncie Burris 73, North Decatur 80. 

Cambridge City Lincoln finishes: Kinley Puckett 10th  

Hagerstown finishes: Avery Blunk 19th, Maycee Favorite 28th, Abigail Smith 32nd, Sophie Garvin 38th, Makena Lanum 43rd, Emsley Holcomb 45th, Savannah Smith 47th, Brenna Walker 84th, Sarah Sorrell 97th and Sadie Nicholas 101st. 

Seton Catholic: Sara Swinney 26th and Carolyn Swinney 29th.
