Keystone Cooperative will supply the city of Richmond with unleaded and diesel fuels during 2026.

The Richmond Board of Public Works and Safety approved a contract with Keystone during a Jan. 8 meeting. Keystone was the only bidder for the yearlong contract.

The board also provided Kara Noe, the city purchasing manager, authority to sign the contract. Fuel prices will be locked in for 142,500 gallons of unleaded and 140,000 gallons of diesel from CountryMark gas station pumps. The bid amounts, recorded Dec. 4, were $2.2617 for unleaded and $2.5876 for diesel at the pumps.

City departments with their own storage tanks and pumps will receive shipments at $2.1476 per gallon of unleaded and $2.4676 per gallon of diesel.

The board also approved a $35,200 contract with B&B Construction for emergency demolition at 210 N. 11th St.
