A sixth-run third inning outburst from Centerville put Lincoln in a hole they could never climb out of Friday night, May 5. The Bulldogs went on to take an 11-1 win over Lincoln in a game that was halted after six innings because of the 10-run mercy rule.

Colton Rinehart’s home run highlighted the Bulldogs’ big inning. Alex Wandersee also had a big night at the plate, collecting two hits and driving in five runs.

The Eagles were limited to three hits. Kaemen Coon drove in the only Eagles run.

The win kept Centerville’s Tri-Eastern Conference title hopes alive. The Bulldogs are in a three-way tie for second in the league standings.
