New Lisbon Broadband has asked Centerville to help it facilitate broadband service to Greens Fork. They want to attach to poles at Gates Road and Centerville Road.
Engineers from the Indiana Municipal Power Agency looked at the poles and said it would be feasible to do so. Council members said it would be a positive to have high-speed internet service available near the current and future businesses near I-70.
Council gave Town Manager Kevin Slick the green light to move further with negotiations and obtain a contract for their review.
