The Seton Catholic volleyball team competed in the Pioneer Academic/Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Park Tudor High School.

The Cardinals defeated Indianapolis Shortridge 25-14, 25-15 and Greenwood Christian 25-22, 25-14 to advance to the Championship match. In the championship, the Cardinals fell to defending 2A state champion Muncie Burris by scores of 22-25 and 18-25. 

Seton Catholic head coach Emily Tremain saw good things in the loss to the powerhouse Owls, saying: “The girls played their best volleyball of the season so far and showed a large amount of progress since their last meeting with Muncie Burris a few weeks ago.”
