The Seton Catholic and Centerville boys basketball teams participated in the Bob Wettig Tournament hosted by Richmond High School on Thursday, Dec. 28 and Friday, Dec. 29, with both teams splitting their four games.

The Cardinals lost their opening round game to eventual runner-up Heritage Christian by the score of 55-53, before defeating Indianapolis Shortridge 81-71 in double overtime in their second-round game. The Cardinals then defeated North Decatur 63-59 in the semifinal round before losing to Belmont 67-54 in the game for ninth place.

The Bulldogs opened tournament play with back-to-back losses and ended it with back-to-back wins. Centerville lost to Indianapolis Tindley 68-65 in the first round and to North Decatur 63-46 in their second-round game. The Bulldogs then defeated Indianapolis Shortridge 46-33 in the semifinals and trounced Indianapolis Scecina 42-30 in the game for 13th place.
