The Centerville Bulldogs were the host school for the Tri-Eastern Conference wrestling meet, held on Saturday, Jan. 24. The Bulldogs used their depth to slide past Hagerstown for the league title 258.5 to 228.

120 pounds: Carter Gross, Hagerstown

126 pounds: Isaiah Smith, Centerville

132 pounds: Lucas Chamness, Northeastern

138 pounds: Landon Gilbert, Hagerstown 

144 pounds: Gavin Elmore, Union City

150 pounds: August “Gus” Golliher, Hagerstown 

157 pounds: Grant Soper, Centerville

165 pounds: Tziyon Phillips, Centerville 

175 pounds: Wesley Hendrickson, Winchester Community

190 pounds: Wyatt Mitchell, Hagerstown 

215 pounds: Quentin Turner, Centerville

285 pounds: Matthew Alberson, Winchester Community

Centerville’s Quentin Turner was the 215-pound champion.

Final team standings: Centerville 258.5, Hagerstown 228, Winchester Community 149.5, Union City 133, Northeastern 120.5, Tri High 85, Union County 59.5, Cambridge City Lincoln 31, Knightstown 23.

Northeastern’s Lucas Chamness earned the 132-pound title.
