The Centerville football team traveled to Liberty on Friday, Oct. 3, for a game with the Union County Patriots. The Bulldogs took a 35-0 lead after one quarter and pushed it to 49-0 at halftime to trigger a running clock in the second half. 

The Bulldogs shared the ball. Seven different Bulldogs scored touchdowns. Maddox Pritchett led with three and Roger Gipson had two. Shay Hollendonner, Davis Pentecost, Kayden Perkins, Brylen Riggs and Ethan Vecera each scored single TDs. Perkins also ran in a two-point conversion and Boston Beatty kicked eight extra points.

Jace Hollendonner completed nine of 10 pass attempts for 204 yards. Vecera led with 82 yards receiving, and Pritchett was next with 69 yards. 

Defensively, Austyn McGuire and Vecera each had eight tackles. Luke Mull and Brice Spears each had five. Evan Noe had a sack. 

The Bulldogs will return home on Friday, Oct. 10, to host the Union City Indians.
