The Centerville Bulldog baseball team traveled to Parker City on Monday, April 7, to open its regular season against Monroe Central. The host Bears jumped out to a 12-1 lead after two innings and held off a late Centerville rally to take a 13-12 win. 

The Bears outhit the Bulldogs 13 to five, with Carter Duncan collecting four hits and Lane Wilson, the winning pitcher, collecting three hits and driving in three runs. Arian Van Skyock drove in three runs for the Bulldogs.
