For the second year in a row, a Centerville student-athlete has been selected by the Indiana High School Coaches Association to play in the annual North-South football all-star game. Ethan Vecera has been selected as a tight end for the South squad.

Vecera is only the eighth player from a Wayne County school to be chosen to participate in the All-Star game in the last 10 years, joining Coleson Campbell (Centerville 2025), Logan Parrish (Hagerstown 2024), Jamari Pamplin (Centerville 2022), Ryan Dickenson (Centerville 2021), Blaine Pierce (Richmond 2020), Jalen Oliver (Hagerstown 2018) and Kody Witham (Centerville 2018).

Centerville head coach Ryan Cole has also been selected as a member of the South squad coaching staff.
