After weeks of rehearsals, area bands participated in the July 15 Archway Classic at Centerville Senior High School, the traditional first show on the road to Indiana State Fair Band Day.
Although rain and sloppy field conditions damped the event, the bands put their shows on display for the first time as they prepare for Indiana State Fair Band Day and received judges’ feedback.
Bands performing included Northeastern High School, the Henry County Crimson Crusaders, Lincoln High School, Hagerstown High School, and Richmond High School.
