Charles Frederick ‘Rick’ Weisbrod passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Thursday morning, September 8th. He was the only son of Charles and Bette Weisbrod of Richmond, IN.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (‘Shute’ of Cambridge City, IN) Weisbrod, and 2 children, Charles Parker and Paxton Brooke. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Bette Weisbrod and sister, Sandra Weisbrod.
His time on Earth was surrounded by the things he loved. He was an avid skier and instructor during his time living in Aspen, CO. He was also a car enthusiast; before moving to Atlanta, he and his father owned and operated Weisbrod Chevrolet in Liberty, IN. In Atlanta, he was the owner and proprietor of Hoosier Hauling: a trucking company.
Rick attended Richmond High School and went on to graduate from Indiana University in Bloomington with a degree in Business. He rode in ‘The Little 500’ during his time there. Rick enjoyed his many friends and many pets; He was rarely seen without his dogs. He was a loyal, giving friend to all he met, even the down and lonely. He was a regular member of Lanier United Methodist Church in Cumming, GA. Rick, a son of God and friend to all, will be missed greatly.
Services will be 11 AM Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Martin Holman officiating; burial will be in Elkhorn Cemetery.
