Henry Lee Thomas Siggers went to be with Jesus on August 4, 2022. He was born May 26, 1961 to Willie L. and Wille H. (Billie Batchelor) Siggers in New Castle Indiana. Henry grew up in Straughn Indiana and was a graduate of Tri High School. In 1981, Henry joined the United States Navy where he devoted 20 years of service. He retired in 2001 on the John C. Stennis Aircraft Carrier in San Diego California. Henry always said “Been around the world twice in the US Navy.” After retirement he moved to Tucson, Arizona and then to Indiana (Richmond later Indianapolis). He was a dual member of the American Legion Post 169 and Squadron 169 in Cambridge City, Indiana. He was a faithful member of River of Life Church of God in Indianapolis. He loved his Pastor (Jeff Cole) and his church family.
He leaves behind to treasure his memory, his loving wife, Christy (Keller) of Indianapolis; son, Robert (Mac) Siggers and daughters, Heather Padilla (Julian) of Tucson AZ, Tosha Deloney of Indianapolis, Ashley Stinson (Ralph) of Savoy IL; grandchildren, Alex, Kaleb, Haley and Mia; siblings, Hazel Lykens (Joe), Naomi Lanter, David Siggers (Angie), Tilda Pegg, Raymond Siggers (Lisa); siblings in-law, Janie Siggers, Tony Keller (Cynthia), Ron Keller, Robin Whichard (Curtis), Amanda Allen (Jamarr); and a myriad of nieces and nephews that he adored; and his best friend Danny “Danny Boy” Harder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Louis Ray Siggers, James Siggers; sister, Vanessa Rose Siggers; mother in-law, Mary Young Keller; brothers in-law, Bill Lanter and Jim Davidson.
Henry was a lover of all sports and competitive in all. He was a faithful follower of Jesus and a strong man of faith. He did in fact see his victory as he is HEALED & Highly Favored.
Services will be held at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, 1993 Cumberland St, Dublin IN 47335. Visitation will be Thursday August 11 from 4-8pm with funeral services Friday August 12 at noon. Service Officiants will be Pastor Jeff Cole and Pastor Raymond Siggers. Burial service to follow immediately after at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.
