Margaret Anne “Peggy” Bullock, 79, of Hagerstown, Indiana, passed away May 17th, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 9, 1943 in Richmond, to Wilford and Stella (Meek) Nuss of Centerville.
Peggy lived most of her life in Hagerstown where she raised her 5 kids. She worked more than 20 years at Lamar Florist in Hagerstown. She enjoyed her job and bringing joy to others. Peggy was a member of Hagerstown First United Methodist Church. She loved her church and church family. Her faith was of the utmost importance to her. She held tight to her faith throughout her entire cancer journey. She was the most loving and caring person you could find.
Peggy not only enjoyed working with flowers but even her love of flowers did not mean she had a green thumb. She had a natural talent for crocheting and enjoyed doing so! She also enjoyed cooking and if you ask anyone who ever had the privilege of enjoying her meals she was also very very good at that! She was a huge fan of The Oak Ridge Boys and enjoyed being a part of their fan club for many years.
Peggy is survived by her loving Husband Robert “Bob” Bullock, of 29 years. She was the loving mother of 5 kids; Tamara Carlton of Eagle River, Alaska, Dawn (Eric) Miller, Anita Pierce, Jamie (Indie) Pierce all of Hagerstown and Eric (Mindy) Pierce of Cambridge City. She is survived by 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren all of which she loved so very much. She is also survived by one brother Robert Nuss and many nieces and nephews.
Peggy is preceded in death by her first husband of 28 years, Jim Pierce; two brothers; Richard Baldwin and infant brother John Nuss and one sister Marilyn Schuckman; two great-grand daughters Elija and Avery. She is also preceded in death by her two fur babies Rocky and Sable whom she loved so very much.
Visitation will be 10 AM to 12 noon on Saturday, May 21, at Hagerstown First United Methodist Church. Services will follow at 12 PM. Pastor Nate Eckert will officiate. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery.
