Charlotte M. Bartram, age 90, Greens Fork, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Reid Health.

Born January 7, 1932, in Williamsburg to Carl E. and Allene Stiens, Charlotte lived in Wayne County most of her life. She graduated from Williamsburg High School and attended IU. One of Charlotte’s passions was raising and showing American Saddlebred horses. She also traveled extensively with her family throughout the Midwest exhibiting her horses. Charlotte was a member of the Indiana Horse Association and the Tri-States Horse Association and was involved in 4-H and other youth activities. She had a deep interest in oil painting, enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, and was an avid IU basketball and Cincinnati Reds fan. Charlotte loved spending time with her family, including her dog, Chip.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Dan Bartram; sons, Curt (Peggie) Bartram of Seymour, Tennessee, Jerry (Linda) Bartram of Wisconsin, Dave (Sabrena) Bartram of Richmond, and Chris (Debbie) Bartram of Williamsburg; grandchildren, Kristy, Anita, Desiré, Amy, Aaron, Morgan, and Jacob; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins, including special cousin, Danny Haynes; and many friends, including her lifelong friend, Joan Radford Turner.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Charlotte M. Bartram will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Immediately following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Williamsburg Cemetery, 8650 U.S. 35, Williamsburg.
